It’s Andrew Fraser here, the Queensland Convenor of the ARM. Like many other community movements we’ve had a tough time getting out recently due to COVID, but hopefully times are a-changing. I want to support our regional members outside of south-east Queensland to help you spread the message more effectively.
I will be in Cairns on Saturday (21/8) and would like to meet as many of you as possible. (I’m also free Friday night but Saturday morning generally works best.) Consequently, I’d like you to come to the Eat Street Café at 139 Collins Ave, Edge Hill on Saturday August 21 at 10am. In addition to me meeting you, I think it would be good for as many of you as possible to meet each other.
I realise that everything may be a bit quiet at the moment, but I would like to brief you on developments within the movement. Essentially, we are using this time to sharpen our position and our arguments, so that when the time comes for a referendum, we’ll be well prepared.
If you can come along, please be sure to RSVP here.
If you have a question please email me at qld@republic.org.au
Hopefully, I’ll see you in Cairns!
