Over the past few weeks the activities of the British Royal family plus the launch of the new strategy has given us some momentum, and we’re having the first public outreach this Saturday at Paddington Central in inner Brisbane between 9 and 11am.
The Victorian Branch Council of the Australian Republic Movement is proud to be hosting Christmas Drinks for supporters of the Movement. Come along to the Clyde Hotel in Carlton for an evening with friends and new faces alike to celebrate the year that has been and a hopefully bright year to come for the ARM.
Come and join us for an evening of festivities to celebrate the successes of the past year, and the opportunities for the year ahead.

Join us in the King's Hall, Old Parliament House from 7pm on 26 November to reflect on Australia's progression towards independence, and to hear past and present parliamentary leaders share their vision for the realisation of the long-awaited Australian republic.
We have an exhibitors stand at this popular Adelaide Hills Show. Please volunteer an hour or two or three to raise awareness and understanding of why and how Australia need to become a republic.
Get ideas and tips on approaching people and talking about promoting Australia becoming a republic. A chance to share your own experiences and ideas on engaging with people and securing supporters and members.
Being an active and visible member of our community, is one way that we maintain the momentum towards an Australian Republic.
To do this, we need your help. We are looking for people to get involved in our Movement whether that be as a member of the NSW Branch Council or as a volunteer to host BBQ's, organise fundraising dinners or even promote our cause on social media.

The Australian Republic Movement, Queensland Branch will be holding our next get-together at the Pineapple Hotel, Woolloongabba on Thursday 5th September at 6pm. Please join us to enjoy a drink and chat about all things Republic. The hotel also serves tasty, well-priced meals. We meet in the rear bar, overlooking the park. Formal discussions usually finish within 90 minutes.

2019 is underway and things are heating up in our campaign for an Australian Head of State. While the temperature outside is scorching, the beers are ice cold – so come join the Victorian Branch Executive and special guest, National Director, Michael Cooney to discuss our plan for 2019 in the first ARM-Victorian Branch event for 2019.

Feel free to come along to the pub from 6pm and we’ll be there for a while and can have a chat then.
